About Us

School Director, Carin Orr has been in the aquatics industry for over 25 years. Her passion is helping others grow to their potential while making it fun. She founded Aqua Star to help all children at heart learn to appreciate yet be safe in and around water. 

We offer lessons Monday-Saturday.

Along with Carin, Jessica and Shayna teach for Aqua Star. Shayna over sees the general day to day operations and also teaches. We are all trusted names in the Denver/JeffCo swim industry and we each have a similar style ensuring your kids get the same quality. We only offer one-on-one, private, swim lessons.  We'll discuss exactly what your goals are, whether that is your child being ready for vacation, preparing for swim team or prepping for your first triathlon or just wanting to be safe with your children at the pool. We will ensure the lessons are fun, while teaching technique.

We encourage weekly lessons. Please email or phone us with your availability. We offer flexible scheduling, great communication and opportunity for make-ups.​Come join us! If you are not satisfied after your first lesson we will refund your money.
